Who needs a companion? A protector. Well, I have the answer to that! In minecraft you'll see dogs in the woods. You can tame them. First, you need to kill skeletons to get bones. Next, you find the dogs. Collect at least 10 bones per dog. Then, you right click on the dog ( you will see hearts above the dogs). Finally, you kill animals for the dogs meat (they eat the meat to live, they can starve). Your new friend will kill anything you punch! ( Trees, plants, and ecs. not included). I really hope this will help, if you really wanted a pet!

P.S. Dogs will go hungry if their tails are down. So feed them often!
