Ok, before i start, thank you so much for pop reel! It is greatly appreciated!
The alien race, known as Kitikanalak (kit-al-ak) evolved on the lush, slightly dry planet krantalik (crint-ill-ik).
They lived
mainly in houses made of the large leaves of the trees above the rainforests
they lived in, the houses looked a lot like the huge shrubs that were native to
the planet. They remained in this state for a long period of time, until they
learned to knot (it took them a long time to learn this).
They then
used claws from the prey they hunted for food to make spears, throwing knives
and daggers. They soon made their first fire and quickly got torches too.
They soon
made the first wooden hut and started to make towers of them. They then made
bridges to link them and then got above the tree line.
They took their
first glimpse of the sky, and saw their orange star (a K3V class star) they
slightly covered their eyes, for they were staring straight into it (who can
blame them, they had never even seen the sky!) they were mesmerised by it. They
climbed back down and told the overs what they had saw, immediately the rest
wanted to see and they all climbed up at once to the top were they too saw the
sky and sun for the first time.
Several centuries
passed, they evolved in their history further, continued to build bigger towers
and formed the first countries. There were 4 major ones, they were Kasaka,
Halvak, Jalman and Velspos. Tension grew between Kasaka and Velspos. Velspos started
to send warnings to Halvak, who immediately distrusted everyone else but
Velspos. Halvak started to distrust Jalman and the world split into three
factions, all of which were on the brink of war with one another. A great war
started when Halvak insulted Jalman and drew in Velspos, during the war, Jalman
was wiped out and Halvak was on their nees, Velspos was serverly weakened too,
Kasaka took this opportunity to strike and practically destroyed Velspos. But Kasaka
spread themselves too thin, and had barely anything defending them from the
north, Halvak attacked them from the north and destroyed Kasaka’s capital,
killing there emperor.
The world
was now back to tribes.
Several tribes
from the east joined together and created a large country again, but they were
isolated from the rest because of the war, preventing an attack by others.
The east
entered a golden age, mainly because of steam power, they started mining,
deeper and deeper, looking for a more efficient material, and they did it. They
discovered titanium, and from it they made incredibly heat resistant
structures, and the first electric power plant was made.
They discovered
uranium and discovered nuclear power and they discovered gunpowder, making the
first firearm. A selection of some northern tribes rebelled against the rest,
starting a civil war, the civil war lasted for a few decades and there weren’t many
causality’s, the technology improved from muzzle loaded fire arms to
semi-automatic rifles and a few experimental rapid fire firearms.
Soon after
they discovered how to make electricity jump from one place to another, making
lasers. They learned of plasma and how to make it.
The first
manned space flight happened, piloted by the brave astronaut Helstaighn Laqatan
(hell-stein lack-wa-tain), he was the first to see the planet from above, and
he was also the first to realise that the planet was a perfect sphere, with one
huge ocean situated in the centre of the rainforests with many rivers leading
off from it. He was the first to know weightlessness and how water floated in bubbles
like air in water, and he was the first to know what was beyond the treetops, beyond
the sky and could see the sun close up.
Several more
centuries passed, then a new astronaut existed, the type that lived on-board a
rocket ship like one in a house as the new lacanax type rockets were launched,
the first faster than light capable ships they had made, they were now going
beyond the sun, so far from it that it will become a little speck in the vast,
black sky, shimmering, but will they cover their eyes from this new sky as they
once did, so many years ago, or will they stare right into the face of a new
wonder, be it an alien or a black hole, a star ship or even earth, who knows
until you go beyond.
