Steve's pickaxe wasn't seeming to work as the monsters were drawing closer! Suddenly, when the zombie and spider were seconds away from attacking, Steve's pick finally broke the gold ore. He then bolted ahead (far too fast for the zombie and spider) to go mine more gold. The two monsters exchange glances and decide to just run straight at Steve. Once again, Steve saves himself in the nick of time by turning around. The zombie and spider stop dead in their tracks...they've been caught red-handed but it isn't too late for them either! They act as if nothing was going on, looking around, whistling (bet ya didn't know zombies could whistle, eh?).  Steve then decides to return to the surface, so he walks back to his exit to find his ladder is missing, he interogates the mobs. They pretend to have no clue. How will Steve get out? Well, he shares his idea with the monsters: The spider will stand under the hole with the zombie standing on his back. Together they will hoist Steve up to the surface. They agree but they want some sort of pay. Steve offers them each a piece of his gold ore and they hastily accept the deal. Soon, Steve is back on the surface with some newly earned friends, who from the beginning, only wanted a bit of gold.
