I want to give shoutout and praise to the best WWII mod out there, yet the single most underrated. you search up "Minecraft WW2" and you'll see Blockfront, or you'll see some bedrock addon made in 2 hours by a 12yr old. you don't see Call to Battle 2. Now while Call to Battle 2 (CtB or CtB2 for short) may have it's fault (which I'll touch on at the end) it still holds up, having over 300 guns and 15 Factions/Nations to choose from and with more added each update, the possibilities are near endless!
One of CtB's best qualities is it's Models, while quality may vary, that changes every update, every model is bound to be improved at some point and then again just to raise the bar higher. it also has several features rarely seen in other gun-related mods. you can Throw a grenade or roll it, swap between scopes and irons with the press of a button, Bayonet Charge, or have an intense sword fight with unique blocking mechanics!

CtB's goal is to be an Accurate,Immersive and Expansive experience of the Second World War all localized in Minecraft, and so far it has done rather well at it. This isn't your friends failed War server, this is a constantly Online Battlefield/Call of Duty esque experience you can play anytime!
Not enough players? you have Challenging AI bots to fill in their places! Fight in battles from the Fields of the low Countries-the Sands of North Africa-The Steppes of Eastern Europe or the Heat of the pacific! with famous battles such as the Battle of Berlin, Battle of Stalingrad, the Normandy Landings and the Battle of the Bulge!
CtB features campaigns rarely featured in actual games such as the invasion of Belgium and the Netherlands, or the Greco-Italian war! You can also choose to play Romania on the Eastern front or fight in the Norwegian Campaign!

CtB's bots from earlier have a secondary function, not into playing a shooter but like WW2 anyway? you can use CtB's bots to make cinematic sequences! either recreating historical photos or making a stop motion animation, despite their limitations the bots can provide great historical cinematic options. CtB's guns and Uniforms also work with the famed CustomNPC's mod (the NPC model must be CtB's model in order to work).
Now for CtB's faults, yes some people may be turned off by the fact it is in 1.7.10, however it is very easy to install and play CtB on 1.7.10, just use the recommended version of forge or the Curseforge Launcher in a custom profile. Another thing is CtB's '5 player limit" any personal server with a player limit above 5 will crash, yes this is a travesty as it ruins the ability to play with your friends on your own private server, this was implemented to stop people profitting off of the mod. and lastly, the kits, while CtB does have a couple hundred guns and uniforms to mess with without them, there is paid content that does include some famous guns you may want, however they don't give you any advantage in the game and you aren't missing out on buying them, but if you enjoy the mod, that is the best way to donate!
