Gold is useless, this is a know fact. I thought of 5 things gold can be use as.
1: but glass below of a gold helmet and it make a diving helmet.
2: if you put feathers next to gold boots and wool bellow it makes flying boots(it makes you have no fall damage)
3: when it is in nugget form, it can me a pump(all on the top and bottom) it can make a pump to connect a furnace and chest and when item is done smelting it will go through the pipe and into the chest.
4:when 8 gold blocks are place inside of of a crafting table like a chest it will make a golden chest which has 2x the space of a normal large chest
5;when you place 1 diamond in the middle of a crafting table and redstone on either side of it and gold it the corner parts it will make a ore compass and will point to the nearest diamond or emerald.
I am thinking of more stuff that is useless in minecraft and i will think of more crafting ideas
