Everyone likes mods, they add things to minecraft, I can't download mods for technical reasons. A good thing to add to minecrat is a bar right next to the "texture packs" bar it should say: Mods. Like the texture packs, you can pick and choose which one you want, this however, would do the same thing as the texture packs, BUT lett you pick 5 mods at a time. Also like the texture packs, it would have a folder plus it would be a lot easier to download mods.
Minecraft, in its name says MINE, so shouldn't there be more things to mine. In tekkit, there is a HUGE variety of things you can mine. In current minecraft, plus the snapshot, there 7 ores, i have 3 more: rubies,copper, and rock.rubies are like emeralds but red and have a different texture. copper has 2 meanings, tools and wire.1:copper can be made into tools, slightly more rare then gold but is slightly better than iron.2: it can be made into wire(yes, i know it is in tekkit)and it would act like a repeater, without the tick, and also like redstone but it can go up strait. rock would be a decretive block and can be made into bricks, like stone, but it would have a lightish grave texture and be a upside down "stone brick".
