Need Help with Broken DS! (Not Spam)

Ok so I was gonna play my DS lite and I was going to use the Action Replay. Its works without it but I really want to use it. But when I push the power button it just says "Ni" and thats it, But when I take the AR out it says it all like normal.
Do I need to buy a new one or do you have any tips.
If you have any helpful tips or tricks I would love to know. Please Help!

No, its just a action replay DSI, but I got a 3ds, so the AR company needs to upgrade :D

Will do! You know, I have a server doin a castle map.. The sad thing is, I lost the map while creating craftbukkit.. I do have 2 friends that play with me and we do have some plugins.. I would love to whitelist you. But every once and a while we switch from a Castle to a Zombie Survival.. So, I hope you make your mind up. :D
