Cauldrons Expanded - A Mod Idea

Recently I was playing Minecraft and decided I wanted to create a Blacksmithery/forge and went about constructing the building and forge table. As I decorated my creation, I placed a cauldron and found that I could only put water in it! And there my idea was born: Make Cauldrons hold more than just water. And maybe have a purpose other than decoration.

If someone reads this and decides to make it into a mod, please reply back and good luck to you.

I have also suggested this idea at the Minecraft forums.

Cauldrons are used in alchemy since they can hold a seeemingly unlimited amount of water which is needed to fill glass bottles to make potions.

I know...but I'm suggesting they be able to hold other liquids also.
