Chapter 2. the midnight pup
I run for about 4 miles and then rested up in and old hollow tree at about 9:00 p.m., November 5. i reached into my bag and pulled out a bottle of water. Drinking only what i needed (and not what i wanted.) I looked around searching for any danger. no one was around be like before something felt out of place. I hopped up a tree and scanned the area again.
There under a near by tree was a wolf pup . However some thing was different about it. this pup was as black as night and as beautiful as it too. I got done from the tree and got some food from my bag while walking toward it. it looked t me with midnight eyes and then looked down to it paw. An arrow was shot at the poor thing and it was on left here to die. it ate some food while i aided its paw. The arrow was a good 5 inches in to its skin.
After wrapping it wound i have to make a choose. If i left without the pup it was surely gonna die, but if i did take it along it would slow me down and the chance i would make it to the market in time were low.
"Aww man... i can't leave you here..but if i don't get on time my family could die..." I sighed looking at the poor pup.
i looked it to those midnight eyes one last time and my faith was closed. I wasn't leaving her behind. I pick up the pup, put it in my bag head out so it can breath and walked the rest of the way.
