The Underwater Ruins

Once, years back, there was a group of three zombies. They had a dream, a dream which was told to be impossible by others. They wanted to build a city underwater.

They kept dreaming, ignoring the things other zombies were saying.
One day, one of the zombies said ''We must do this, now, or never!'' Both other 2 zombie agreed. They planned on going the next day, as they were busy annoying humans first.

The next day begun, and before the sun came to burn them, they jumped in the water, and started building, and building, and building. The first few days they had to keep swimming up to the surface to get breath. One day, though, one of the zombies discovered a trick, he would place a door, and stand in the opening. That way, he could infinitly breathe underwater. Ever since then, things were way easier, as they didn't have to keep swimming up to the surface.

Years have passed, and the three zombies have called the project ''Complete''. From that point, they started living in their city, and inviting other zombies, as they had tons of houses. As the cities got popular, many other zombies started doing the same. They started building cities in the same style.

Often, the zombies gathered ores like diamonds, gold, emeralds, and other things. They stole treasure maps from pirates aswell!
Some zombies were even sent to the nether to get some fancy magma blocks, or go on a diving expedition for some prismarine and sea lanterns. The houses of the rich contained purple glazed terracotta. The ruins you see today made of sandstone, were community buildings. Mossy ruins were one of the first building to be built in the city.

After a year, there were already 41 other cities built by others. And yes, even the zombies who said the dream would be impossible, had built a city. The group of three zombies came to their city and laughed at them, saying ''Ha! Remember what you said about it being impossible?''.

Though, after 4 years, the cities started losing residents, to the point with only a couple left. Though, they doors broke down, and all zombies left in the cities, drowned. Unable to do anything, the cities started breaking down, with only a couple houses left, and those were the structures, called Underwater Ruins, you see today, in the 1.13 Update Aquatic.

Many wonder how the cooked fish in the old chests from years ago, are still ''cooked''. Don't they get cooled down after a while in such cold water? Well, thats a mystery to be solved on another day.
