Creative Play?
Imagine playing creative on map with all custom trees, where the only continents that exhist are the ones i have created using world painter. everything else is endless ocean. Mob spawns are turned off, so im roleplaying my own creative lore and story to the this world. imagine minecraft without being limited to vanilla survival gameplay!
Challenge:
Because creative can get 'boring' having unlimited power, this letsplay will have a challenge. this is not simple minecraft. the mobs have been disabled, and the mechincs are what i make them. Lets pretend we are actually living in this world. In order to have access to something, say wood, there needs to be a farm that produces it and exports it to the world. Thus more blocks will be available to build with as farms are created. for the purpose of starting out, I will build a small stone mine to allow the first sets of buildings to have access to some cobble. it will not produce enough to be used elsewhere as an export. but the eventual wheat, some crops, and several types of woods from the nearby forest will be produced in bulk for the greater wood. This is the starting area :) As the story progresses more continents, and farms and thus blocks will be available.
Because this is all rp'd I can make up future farms and rules as I desire and need. did i want purpur? how about a dwarven continent with a vien of mysterious purple blocks that they craft into bricks? skulk? the depths of the dwarven mine has a dark infected stone vien. This also has the potential of custom blocks in the future. Thats all up for debate/thoughts as I grow the story.
