Alex and Steve are diving, and they find a shark behind them. Steve has to dive to a lower depth to escape the shark, almost drowning in the process. Steve fleas away only to remember Alex, who is cornered by the shark. Steve punches its gills and the shark scurries away. Both Alex and Steve have survived, though Alex is having memory problems due to stress and lack of oxygen. Steve comforts Alex and the two start to head to the surface. Something then catches the eye of both divers- gold! Hundreds of gold! Steve mumbles, "It's gold, Alex!" They dive to happily get the treasure. Alex then sees a shadow. Steve catches on, and the two find themselves about to be eaten by a blue whale. They swam as fast as they could, but the blue whale was faster, and easily ate them both. The couple tries to escape, but is cornered. Alex and Steve fight and scratch the whale, but it still swallows both of them up. The two find themselves riding the whale, as they swim the animal to safety. They attempt to jump out of the whale to be rescued, but it refuses. Alex has an idea, and mumbles to Steve, "Steve, I heard that a weak spot in a blue whale is near its blowhole. If we tickle it, we'll be free!" Steve barely understood Alex as she and Steve were wearing snorkels, so they went up to the blowhole. They wait for the right moment, and as the whale comes up to catch his breath, the two start tickling. The whale notices, and tries to budge the water and its passengers all at once. Steve mumbles, "It's working!" They tickle faster. The whale, having had enough, kicks the two away, and they both swim toward the surface. The whales' heart beats are slowing. Both Alex and Steve want to make it back to land, but can barely swim with the lack of air. They land in a coral reef. They spot a light in the middle of the reef. They think of it as a submarine. "We're saved!" Mumbles the delighted duo. The light gains on them. Alex, notices that light is not bright enough to be a sub. "Steve, I think that's an angelfish." It is an angelfish. The divers are almost out of air, but then find an air disposer underwater. They try to fill their tanks, but there is no air. Steve and Alex turn back, and realize the shark from earlier had been following them. Cornered, Steve and Alex have no choice but to drown. They both grab each others' hands, hoping for help to arrive. "I'm scared, Steve," mumbled the almost drowning Alex. "Me too," mumbled Steve. All of a sudden, another light shined. They think it's the angelfish from earlier, but to their relief, it is an air conditioner underwater! The next and last ride of its day was coming down. If they were able to ride it, both of their lives could be saved! Steve and Alex board the air conditioner. The divers' tanks are almost full of water. Steve and Alex cough up water, but barely manage to blow half of it out. They still choke on water a little, but are able to get on. All hope seems lost no longer, but the ride starts to break. Steve and Alex's tanks are 75% full of water. They start to choke again. A red light flashes, meaning the ride will soon be over. Steve and Alex take their last deep breath, and the ride breaks. Their tanks are full of water. They look at each other one last time, and close their eyes as they die. Then, while they are asleep, the conditioner releases a gust of wind, and one of the currents takes the barely alive duo to a cave, and to their surprise, there’s an air pocket. Steve opens his eyes, looking at Alex, and realizes he’s in the cave. He notices the pocket, and tries waking up Alex, but she doesn’t respond. He quickly takes her up to the air pocket. He takes a big breath and takes off Alex's snorkel. He gives her some air, and Alex regains her consciousness. Steve has saved her life, and she hugs Steve. “Thank you, Steve,” says Alex. “My life was over, but you saved me.” “Anything for a friend,” says Steve, and the two kiss. They blow out all the water in their tanks and head out of the cave. They realize they forgot about the treasure in the harsh condition, but luckily find it has also been brought by the current. They safely return to the surface with smiles on their faces
