Do you think custom capes should be added to minecraft like there are custom skins which can be added on the minecraft website.Do you think this will be implemented in future minecraft or will it stay the same with no capes. Feel free to reply (remember this is my opinion :D .)

No. A cape is something special, something to show that you've done something amazing, like been to Minecon, or invented the zombie pigman, or bought the one millionth copy of Minecraft. If anybody could have a cape, it would remove the specialness of having one. It would no longer be 'cool' to have a cape, and eventually, it would be cliched and people would stop wearing them, and then people would wear them again to look 'cool'. A cycle of wearing capes and not wearing capes. Completely stupid. And so, if we keep the current system, capes stay unique, and you don't get noobs running around saying how cool they are because they 'went to minecon'. Also, my comment was longer than two of your entire post. Interestng.

Dinnerbone said he was going to do something with skins so maybe but I am not sure

well, yes, now with skins there are hat layers for VERY THING! (for example a hat layer of the stomach, you could make a jacket then) but it has nothing to do with capes, although you could make the hat layer of your back and texture it like a cape you want and have it, still it woun't move, it will just stay there

it will be cool but ppl will abuse showing their cape like saying YO I WENT TO MINECON SEE MY CAPE all that it will be annoying
