Donations for Servers

I can't believe how many eople ask for donations when the server just started. If you are going to start a server you need alot of money to survive at least a year until you can get donations to keep it going. Also don't make an expensive server at first. Make it a 1gb then go up as needed and you can trust on donations. Almost no server today can rely on just donations. You may think "I can make money off of this", the truth of the matter is you really can't. No one is going to spend money on a server run by little kids that will just shut it down randomly. People want servers that have lasted a couple months.

When starting a server don't beg for donations right away. Keep your cool until you get a great community, a good website, be active and help alot. Donators want to see the Owner on every day as much as they can. Not you sit back and do other things. They want to be able to ask questions etc.

When getting doantions have many options to accept them. They want an easy way to donate not something hard and frustrating. Also have KITS and other options like in MobArena a donor class with enchanted armor and stuff
