Don't Hate But Create!
Hello Community of PMC,
I wanted to touch on a subject that many people feel about themselves as artists and publishers for many projects and submissions that we as a community upload. I wanted to outreach the community for those who's work never gets seen or maybe someone who receives negative comments on their work to hurt them. Well here is a little something that may, and hopefully will, change that.
First I wanted to start with those of the unseen. I noticed that many people, including myself, have issues with getting noticed and receive views. Now I am not worried about myself, but more about the others. There are some who practically get no views. Now some of you might be like whatever, but those artist care just like you do and giving views to boost their morale, keeping them happy, creating a happy community.
With that in mind, that brings us to our second point, comments. Now some of you who do give credit to at least view project, great but what about comments? Well every submission deserves comments. Now people do that which is good, but there are some of you who post comments in a negative way. What I mean by that is that people tend to post comments that are rude and mean like "you suck" or "this looks like crap," etc. Well although comments are good, that is the wrong way post comments. Now I understand you guys want a better community with better submissions, we all do, I even admit that. The thing is though, to help make that happen, we need to post comments that are not negative, but constructive. That is actually the point of a comment, is to construct the person into teaching them what to keep doing and what not to do. So instead of saying "you suck," say "you can do (action) this to make it better" or "may I suggest this, instead of (word)," etc. In other words, tell them what they did good/right and what they could improve/change to make their submissions better. Point being, we as a community can be nicer to support those who may need support in order to make them a better artist.
Overall, what I am trying to say is that we need to be nicer to those who struggle with their submissions and support them in order to not "hate but create" artist that will blow away the community with submissions that we all know they are capable of submitting. So please do the artist, the community, and I a favor and help make a change in how our community acts towards many artist and create stronger artists by supporting those who need it with your views and constructive comments, thanks.
If you like this blog, please leave a comment and diamond this submission to get it noticed to the community so we may have a better community. We will have a better community, if we try and push forward.
Thank you for your support,
D2BD.
