This is going to be a real short and FIRST blog by me.
HOW TO MAKE A HD Realistic Texture pack.
I haven't uploaded any of my realistic ones yet but the easiest way to make a HD texture pack by yourself is:
Lets say we want a 256x256 texture pack.
1 - Download any texture pack that is 256x256 (And open the terrain.png inside it with an editor like photoshop)
(NOTE: You dont have to download any texture packs - you can just increase the size of the original terrain.png but
its easier this way atleast for me)
2 - Find some textures on google (Example: Try googling "Sand texture" or "Wood texture")
Just find and save the texture you like and import it into your editor into terrain.png you have opened.
For example: Place the sand texture you downloaded on the sand block in terrain.png.
THEN JUST FIND TEXTURES FOR ALL THE OTHER BLOCKS. You are probably gonna have problems with
glowstone, redstone or something like this. You will have to do something yourself. Mix some textures up.
3 - When you're done simply save it as "terrain.png".
If you want to edit the chest. You have to edit the file "chest.png" and "largechest.png" that can be found inside
the texture pack folder > items.
THIS IS HOW I MADE MY FIRST HD TEXTURE PACK. (Gonna upload it soon - hope so)
HOPE THIS HELPED.
