ElementAnimations, the one who worked on this April Fools prank made a video about today's joke and it is pretty funny for a short video.
Anyways, try to enjoy today. It may be annoying at first, but you'll have a laugh if you play Survival Games or PVP. The sounds while fighting are humorous, all of the sounds become more humorous. Even when you die it can be funny, and Survival Games adds an explosion noise when upon death which will be replaced with "Explode". But, if you prefer to use your own skin because you do not like the prank and you are OK with singleplayer:
-Disconnect from the internet.
-Save your skin to your computer as a photo.
-Replace char.png with that photo.
It will all return to normal the next day, so again, try to have some laughs today. ;P
