Emerald Tools?

Hey guys I was just reading that Emerald Blocks would be coming out in 1.3 but I was wondering if anyone has seen any tweets or anything about Emerald Tools. I would expect not because it is pretty easy to obtain Emerald via trading with Villagers, but it could be. But it also can be a big possibility if they are releasing the Emerald Block because every other ore has a block and could be used to make tools except Lapis Lazuli.

I don't normally play with mods either but, Direwolf20 is just fun to follow for a while :D

Yea I bet he has really good videos :D I actually do Mod Reviews on my channel but then I just un-install them right after lol.

Emerald tools would be too much like a mod. Idk, would be weird to have it in Minecraft. As MattyXboxman said, it's a currency.
