Hello everyone, I am FatMuzzy and today I present to you a server review series. Now, this won't be daily or anything, so I'll just do these whenever I go on a new server. To start off this extravaganza, I will review Endcraft.
IP: endcraft.net
First Impressions
Needs to give you a 'Heads Up' on what'll
Happen next.
When I first spawned at this server, I was greeted with text in the chat saying I must login or register. The spawn is on a small platform, with a sign saying PvP in endstone. There is a PvP arena below it, which is usually filled with 3 or 4 players. I began to walk off the platform, hoping to join in on the PvP action. It kept teleporting me back to spawn, and I got quite annoyed for a couple seconds, until I decided to register my account. As soon as I did so, I was teleported to a kit PvP arena, so I began punching. I did pretty well, until I rapidly started losing hearts. I looked around, but no one was to be seen! My first impressions on this server is that they need to give you a 'Heads Up' on what'll happen when you do a specific action.
The Community
Doesn't stand out at all, and doesn't welcome you to the server.
Endcraft's community is a lot like a regular server's community-not too pretty and hates noobs. When I first joined this server, I wasn't greeted at all, which is normal, but as soon as I entered a PvP arena when I had nothing, everyone ran toward me. When I asked to team, this guy said yes, and then killed me. Well played. This just goes to show how selfish the communities on a lot of servers are these days.
The Staff
High ranks rarely come on, too many moderators.
The Endcraft server's ranking system has a confusing way of showing who has what rank. There are ranks like 'Spartan', 'Assassin', or 'Diamond'. It would be helpful if they had a list of ranks that shows the high ones or low ones. Also, there are too many moderators registered on Endcraft. Of course, mods probably have /gm 1 or a diamond kit, so I got abolished in PvP.
Conclusion
Much like a regular PvP server.
This server is mainly a PvP server, but it claims it has a survival server as well, but with no avail. The only difference from a regular server is the excessive amount of moderators, which is a negative.

How Endcraft can improve
Well, first off, you [The owner] may want to rethink your choices on the ranking system, such as demoting some players that aren't needed. This will sort of make the staff less overwhelming, which means less OP players. Next, before a player commits an action or command, let them know by adding a /info. Finally, maybe you could consider making a better website for your server. I recommend enjin, which has built in donation plugins and such. There is no way of improving the community, though.
