~I don't know if any of you have noticed something that I would think is blatantly obvious but I have.~

Imagine the following scenario:

"Jeff sits down one day and decides, 'I'm going to create a Minecraft skin for everyone to enjoy!' He jumps into his favorite program to complete this work only to find himself interrupted by something away from his computer, still he wants to upload his skin before he heads to this outside task.

A few days or maybe even hours later, he comes back and updates all of the detail on said skin to an above par standard and updates the file on his PMC post, but what's this? the thumbnail is still the same? Dear word! Begrudgingly he tries to inform users that the image doesn't represent his true work, but no-one listens and he is forced to loose all of his views and thumbs/diamonds/likes due to that fact that there is such a simple error in said system."

Now I don't know if this is something to do with the pluggin that the skins are being viewed with or the actual database itself but it always displays the first version when you upload a skin, even if you take the liberty to update/ amend your creation later. This is especially truoblesome during the new skin contests.

How to avoid such a hassle:

1. Don't upload incomplete skins

-Simple right? But if you wait until your finished it will save you the hassle of amending it later.

2. Double check your work

-If you are going to upload a skin first check out the alignment on all the pieces, popular programs for this are skincraft, minershoes, and skinedit. but if all else fails just try it on your Minecraft character or have a friend try it on for you.

3. If it is a big enough update just upload it as a secondary skin

-note this does NOT apply to the following

+recolors
+remixes
+add-ons
+color adjustments
+tiny details

4. Keep an idea of how much time you have when creating a skin

-pretty straight forward no?

Anyways, this is just what I think, if you have any questions or comments I think you know how to reach me. that is either below or via PM if you didn't catch that drift. Hope we can figure this out together and make PMC better for everyone.
