I am NOT the creator of the factions plugin but I fixed the problem. So this is the problem,
Say you make a faction named "Test", it should come up beside your chat name as "Test" But colored.
The problem is if you make a faction Test without fixing the problem it would show up beside your name with 2 random letters that will look something like this in the chat, "aTestr".

Instuctions
Extract the contents of the zip into your plugins folder.
The files in the zip include:
1 factions.jar
1 factions (file folder)
