The story so far:  You start in a town, not able to leave.  You ponder
over why, and think through your facts so far:  Some say there are
creatures in the forest.  Others say it is simply to dangerous.  Still
more players beleive that the guardians of the forest made a pact with
the players long ago, denying them from leaving their designated area.
These
seem plausable, but you can't decide which one to beleive.  You search
for information in the books and papers left from your father. 
Nothing.  Next you try the library, a man there has lost a book, you
find it in exchange for the truth.  He does not know.  You leave,
thinking of more ways to leave while doing tasks for of the townsfolk. 
Finally, you find the peices to make a sword.  You duel someone who says
that if you can beat him, he will give you permission to leave the
protected area.
Easily, you knock him unconsios.  When he comes to, he lets you leave. 
It
is much as you expected, at first.  If you leave the path, you die. 
Simple as that.  But you only injure yourself when you try. 
After
walking for only a few minutes, perhaps twenty, you see a burning house
in the distance.  You rush towards it, meaning to help anyone inside. 
It is no easy task, like the ones in the village.  The man is trapped
under a rock, half the size of you.  Seeing this, you quickly find
something to lift it off of him.  A crowbar is the nearest item. 
The man, who turns out to be called Dells, is willing to give you a map.  And something else.
