Free 24/7 Server

I think 24/7 Servers should be free.. or not even that just normal servers shouldn't need your computer to be on to run. But i was thinking what if there was no such thing as a "minecraft Server" what if all u had to do was just
upload your world and maybe notch could charge money for the slots in that world. i got the idea from a lot of
games like. little big planet, eden, and im sure theres many more out there. so maybe if notch makes a update again he will make it like i said
