This is a little tutorial on how to get custom heads and Ender crystals in the snapshots 13w36a/13w37a. First lets get the head. so we do the command: /give (your username here) 397 (put the number of heads you want here) 3 {SkullOwner: (The desired person's head here)} Here is an example: /give Notch 397 1 3 {SkullOwner: jeb_}
We just gave Notch, Jeb's head (yes that is his real username). That is how you give yourself a custom head.

Note: If you are a skin maker you will most likely know that there are 2 parts to the head in the players skin (the inside and outside) this will only do the inside. And in 13w37a there is a bug that you can only give yourself your own head. So please use 13w36a or 13w36b.

Now for getting an Ender crystal that you could only get with a world editor before. You first have to know that the Ender crystal is a tile entity, that is why you can't get it with the give command. You have to use a new command in the snapshots. You have to use /summon. This is how you use it:/summon EnderCrystal This will make it spawn right where your feet are. Now if you are skilled with coordinates (I know I'm not) then you can do
/summon EnderCrystal X Y ZIts as simple as that.

There is also one more thing that is cool. Once you have placed the Ender crystal or given yourself the head, it will still be there if you go to back to 1.6.2!

Thank you for reading and please diamond if you like it.

When I try this command here:

/give ean521 397 1 3 {SkullOwner:MHF_Squid}

I am given a steve head named "Head". Help please. I am on a 1.7.2 Bukkit server, but it also didn't work on my single player world. It also worked before the skin database was moved, could that be a problem?

It has been working fine for me, but I think you need a space between the : and name of the head.

Are you connected to the internet in minecraft? It also could have been when the skin databases were down. It also might be that you wrote the username wrong.

That probably means that you misspelled their username. Caps matter! And make sure you are connected to the internet.
