hello, and welcome to my phasmophobia spoof story! the goal of this is to write a story from a ghosts perspective every week until we've made it through them all. hope you enjoy!


  I hear a van pull up at the front, and soon after the door creaks open. Shadows flicker across the house, and soon I can hear talking. I think it's another one of those ghost hunter teams, even after I demolished the last one. They quickly find the breaker, and start looking for me. I drift through them to the front rooms, the last place they usually look, and wait. After a minute, I feel a strange but familiar pulling. They've found the monkey paw. And then, before I can react, they've wished to see me. I make a choking sound as I'm lurched across the room, slamming right into one of the members. Instinctively my hands close over their eyes, and they die, leaving me invisible again. I immediately go back to the front room, and start hurling things over the other two's heads. I giggle as they scream and rush out the front door. Eventually they get used to it and come back in. The minute they do, I kick the breaker. Oh, the fear on their faces!

Then another, braver member comes in with an odd box, and begins asking questions. "Are you here?" "Are you friendly?" "Are you close?" I whisper a threat in their ear and instead of jumping in fear, they smile and throw the box down. I frown, and decide enough is enough. The second all three of them enter, I slam the front door shut and begin the hunt. I can sense a device on in a closet nearby, and I slowly open the door. Two people are crouched there, one with their flashlight still on. I giggle with excitement and reach out until I'm blinded by something. I immediately stop my hunt, trying to clear my eyes of that horrid substance. Just then, I hear the group chant "SPIRIT!" and the rumbling of the van's engine.

This ghost failed :(

how did they know it was a spirit, you ask? spirits are the only ones who will end a hunt if smudged (which is the smoke mentioned). sometimes it's a coincidence, but in this case the ghost would've just killed em'
