A Glider would be an awesome way to travel around Minecraft. It would be quick and easy and it makes sense in the game, it fits the way Minecraft has been made. It would be simple to make but it would be made in parts. The Glider would have a durability bar. A use would be determine by when activated.
You would first have to make wings, out of wool and then you would have to take wood to make the cockpit( the cockpit could possibly be a boat. In the crafting table, to make wings, you would put the wool in the crafting bench like you make stairs.You could then make a boat. Then you would put the three things side by side in the bench and you would have your glider.
Wing:

Build a regular boat
Glider:
Wing Boat Wing
You wouldn't be able to fly the glider for ever though. You would have to fly it in an up and downwards motion, to pick up speed. You could jump off a y value ( a mountain) to gain speed.
You would activate the Glider by having it selected in your inventory and activate by pressing space bar You would use the mouse to direction yourself. The A and D could be used to bank, left or right. The W would be used to go down and the S to go up. The mouse would be used to look around.
Don't forget to Diamond and if you liked it enough, favorite it!
