Here are some good tips you should know before starter you ore mining, tree-punching adventure!

1. Gather seeds, dirt, and wood as soon as you spawn.

2. Never dig straight down.

3. If needed, change the colors of your ores in your texture pack to a bright color. This will keep from losing them when exploring a cave.

4. Always keep your sound up if you are not playing on Peaceful!

5. Gather wool from sheep to make a bed. This will keep from losing your shelter if you die.

6. Always keep tools handy when on an adventure. You never know when you might need to cut down some extra wood!

7. Make sure you gather plenty of food. All that sprinting sure can wear you out!

8. (Optional) Build your house on stilts. This prevents mobs from coming up to your house and causing mayhem.

9. Keep your guard up! Not only for enemies, but items as well!

10. Making other camps. Using one shelter can be a long and tiresome journey. Make sure you make checkpoints while going on long journeys to save your supplies.
