With the release of Android 17, Google has introduced stricter controls on Developer Mode. What used to be a simple toggle for developers and advanced users has now become subject to new restrictions and automatic shutdowns.

Key Changes
Timeouts: After repeated activations, the system enforces delays of 7 minutes or even 24 hours before Developer Mode can be re-enabled.
Automatic Deactivation: If suspicious activity is detected (frequent switching or script automation), Developer Mode may turn off by itself.
Security Goals: These measures aim to prevent abuse, block automation tools, and reduce the risk of accidental activation of dangerous options.
