Now, I myself am a person who generally has the occasional issue with spelling and grammar. The thing is, when typing an article there is no excuse for most errors. I understand this is the internet and people are going to talk like "lol i can has EXP?" but it gets annoying after a while. I personally hate reading blog articles and descriptions with poor grammar. (Note: this mainly applies to those whose native language is English and are just too lazy to type it properly. Those who are not native to English speaking regions, you have an excuse [It's a hard language to learn].)

...and so... I present you some tips and tricks for using slightly less atrocious spelling and grammar.
Keep in mind, you most likely will not correct all mistakes (it doesn't have to be perfect, just mildly acceptable)

1. USE SPELL CHECK! I cannot stress this enough. If there are multiple red squiggly lines under words in your typing, right click them and fix them (unless your the kind of person who frequently uses non-existent words like Jedi or Stang in their work, in which case you probably are a geek and this isn't the article you're looking for. Move along. Move along. ). Because PMC has spell check, there are no excuses for misspelled words.

2. Before posting your article, (if you do not know your common English rules) save it to a Word document or your commuter's Notepad. After that, copy your typing and put it through an online editor such as SAS Curiculum Pathways writing reviser or other such sites. (TIP: When going to SAS, search Writing Reviser).

3. If you can't find a good reviser, email your article to a friend who can proofread it for you.

4. Reread your work multiple times before posting. Be mindful of word usage (example: did you use "too" where you should have used "to" or "two"?)

5. Try to be conscious of your audience and your message. Make sure that your writing accurately conveys that message and is easily understood by your audience. This means explain ideas and topics in your writing that the average viewer may not be as knowledgeable about as well as using proper (or at least acceptable) grammar and spelling.

6. Remember that cussing doesn't make a good impression. Try choosing different phrases to express yourself.
For instance instead of " I Kriffing hate it when people make Steve skins." say "I think Steve skins are unimaginative and not creative, and people who constantly make them to gain XP make me very mad". (Kriffing is Star Wars word).
(Also note that using better phrases to express yourself and avoiding profanity make you seem more intelligent [even if you are already] {Interesting scientific fact: Profanity is a lower level thinking process (more primitive)}

In the end, all the labor and time put into properly editing your posts will show in the better quality the viewers will see in it (at least in the craftsmanship of your words; only you can improve the actual quality of your other posting aspects).

Now it is up to you to follow these guidelines and improve your post quality; in the words of Morpheus from the Matrix " I'm trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it."
