Most of the questions we have been receiving through our Q&A or email have been about infinite worlds in Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.9.0. Although infinite worlds in 0.9.0 will work on any device that can run MCPE, infinite worlds will only be smooth on dual-core phones and tablets. So here’s how to find out if your device can play on infinite worlds with no lag!

If you have an Apple device
This one is easy. Here all all Apple devices that can play on infinite worlds with no problems:
  • iPhone 4S+
  • iPad 2+
  • iPad 5/Air
  • iPad Mini
  • iPad Mini (retina)
  • iPod Touch 5+

If your device is not on this list, you will have noticeable lag while playing on infinite worlds. Please don’t ask if your iPod 4 or some other device will run infinite worlds perfectly, all of them are on this list.

If you have an Android device
The easiest way to find out if your device has a dual-core processor is to download the app CPU-Z from the Play Store (link). Once you install it, open it and look at the number next to ‘Cores’ on the SOC tab (shown in the picture). If you have two or more, you will be fine. If you only have one, you will have some lag while playing.

If you have a Kindle
As long as you have a model on this list, you will be fine:
  • Kindle Fire (1st gen)
  • Kindle Fire (2nd gen)
  • Kindle Fire HD 7 (1st gen)
  • Kindle Fire HD 8.9
  • Kindle Fire HD 7
  • Kindle Fire HDX 7
  • Kindle Fire HDX 8.9

Hope this guide helps you guys, and feel free to ask any questions in the comments.
