Okay, right. Well I need Help.
Im making a minecraft adventure map which includes a new feature of Naming Mobs.
Although, I am confused as The Legendary Hypixel has released a new map which has colored mob names.

I do know that you need to use minecraft formatting codes. As far as I know you can use this to color text in Books. So I assumed that you must do the same when renaming a mob in an anvil. Unfortunately it is not possible to put this symbol § (which is essentially for coloring stuff in mc) in the Gui of the Anvil to color the mob name.

I have also tryed using Sethblings change mobs filter which lets you rename the mobs in MCedit. I tryed pasting this Symbol and typing it as well but to no avail.

Help me?

I never actually thought of the fact the mob names are coloured. I am not sure how Hypixel did it. Perhaps SethBling created a private MCedit filter just for him. Hope you find out how to do it. By the way, if you need help with this map, I would love to. Thanks.

Yeah, I found out how it was done. You need to use Sethbling's Modify Items Filter. This Filter allows you to change the color of an item, But what I did not know before is that it also effects mobs, So if you call a zombie egg §6Zombie (This would make the name Gold) and then use the spawn egg to spawn a zombie the zombies name would be Gold. I figured it out pretty much by luck when I was messing around with MCedit!
