Hatsya Speaks: Teen skins!

Oh hey guys, HatsyaSouji here, and now talking about the never-ending teenskin trend.

As most Minecrafters here in PMC vent their rage against the Hoodie Teen Skins, or teenskins wearing the Creeper face brand, that they want to either ban the Teenskinner, or suggest a whole new sub-site dedicated to the teenskin apocalypse

Now, here's my response. Teenskins are endless plagues, much like the kitbashed-from-vanilla spaceships of Starfarer, Transcendence, and Battleships Forever, mix-matched GetAmped/Splash Fighters/Cosmic Break/C-21 Steel Chronicles allegedly-original skins, and THERE IS NO FREAKING, END-ALL, GLOBAL MISSILE STRIKE, APOCALYPTIC-GRADE SOLUTION at all. What we can do, new skinners is... if we happened to be infected by this trend, let's come up with different twists, like... Do either a...

• Tetsuya Nomura-esque teenskin, add vital details, like streaks, some profound zippers.
  
• A hip-hop gangsta fashion, provided that we pull off a handful of shading and details.
  
• A handful of modern Japanese fashion: Harajuku, or Visual Kei
  
• Try doing other teen cliques (Gamers, as in headphoned Creepurz teenskins are highly-murdered)
  
• There are sporty teens.
  
• If we'll do a 32x skin, there might be a time that there'll be a Creepurz-brand of headsets too!
  

But if you really can't pull off your twists, or make your own non-teenskin theme, be sure at least you shade your works well, be it radial, rough (like mine), or something shiny as Leostereo's!

Try taking on other subjects, or refine what you're already good at. A mere recolor doesn't make you an artist, and quality of the skins you make stand more compared to how many skins you churn out by mere recolors and kit-bashes.
