Hello!

Let's try writing a blog... I don't know, I've never written one about myself, so this might be hard.

What can I say about myself? Well, first of all, I'm a musician. I can play the piano, guitar, bass, harmonica, the drumset, and can sing somewhat decently. I'm also a composer; I consider myself a good one, and people seem to agree with me on that one. I'm also a decent writer, though I don't enjoy doing that as much as anything music-related. My many musical influences include Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Soda Stereo, Fito Paez, Michel Camilo, Iron Maiden... I have a very diverse taste, I guess. Really, anything that's well written and not some mind-numbingly repetitive, uninspired pop song it's likely to interest me.

So anyways, random things about me: I'm 17 years old, I live in Guatemala, I'm currently in college, majoring in Psychology, I'm a furry, I love old school videogames, I'm good at Zombie Escape on Counter Strike: Source, I haven't watched TV in almost a year, I like being sarcastic and people say I'm very cynical, I like coffee and drink it every day (but being from Guatemala that's no surprise)... those are my main interests. I procrastinate a lot. Seriously, it's ridiculous how much I do it.

I'm a huge geek - I'll be the first to admit that. I like playing DnD (in fact, I'm DMing a game right now) and mythology in general. I love Doctor Who and Star Trek (Kirk > Picard, obviously!), I play WoW (despite the fact that I suck at it, I enjoy it) etc.

Fun fact: my username in several sites is TheKid, which leads people to assume I'm a kid. The real story is, back in summer vacation several years ago, I found a little game called I Wanna Be The Guy. I made it my job to win that game. So I took the alias TheKid, planning on changing it to TheGuy once I became the guy. I actually managed to beat the game, and changed my aliases (where I could) to TheGuy. I felt like TheKid sounded better, though, so I reverted it back to that. I still keep it.

I just felt like I had to say that, since it's annoying being called "kid" when I'm not.

So that's basically me in a nutshell. Seriously though, I doubt anyone's ever going to read this blog. If you did, thank you xD I'll probably be posting random stuff here as a means to vent my thoughts or just when I've got nothing better to do. Until next time :)
