minecraft.net is down....and since mojang released the pre-release of 1.8 I dont see how the pre-release has anything to do with this.

Muy minecraft.exe comes up when I run it but I cant do anything on it the news doesnt pop up and I cant login or anything but move my mouse and exit it out.

And when I do try to exit it out it takes a while for it to close O_o

Usually my minecraft.exe works when the minecraft.net is down and I just play off-line but I cant even do that!!!!!

WHATS WRONG WITH THE GAME????!!!!????!!!

Lol go on the www.minecraft.net website maybe you can see that minecraft.net is down.....was it really that hard to figure out?

True, but it doesn't take this amount of time just to load the application, I have to wait just to press login.

And if the process of login would take time, then I knew minecraft.net was down, but this is a new thing, I even got back to 1.7.3 to see if it fixes, but it's the same, this is a new king of error occurring. (and I will not speculate about 1.8 or hacking attacks, I know it's just some temp problem)

Post this in the forums

delete your .minecraft in ur appdata
then restart
