Help with Minecraft?

My minecraft is not working at all. I upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion today. I upgraded the Java. After that my Minecraft stopped working. I tried re-downloading it and every time it says that it is damaged. If you have any way to fix it please comment. Yesterday it was working fine and this morning the sound went out. I deleted my minecraft folder and downloaded the minecraft again. After that it stopped working.

I figured it out. First go to security settings and turn on application downloads to Anywhere. Then download mine craft and open it up.turn it on and open a world or two. after that drag the mine craft icon in to the application folder. If you wish you can go back to the Security settings and change it back to your previous settings. Please comment if this helped.-Guitarmatt44

Note: This method will not(shouldn't) erase any mods.
