Help with Texture Pack

I am currently making a texture pack for my adventure map however for some reason Minecraft doesn't recognize that its a texture pack. I would appreciate any help.

awww... i have the same problem...

did this happen with 1.8 only or earlier versions too,

and does it have a higher/lower resolution then 16?

with this info i can say it`s a bug or not.

i fixed it you just zip all the files within the folder and not the folder itself
