Hey guys! I just wanted to share this research I have done on Herobrine. It is all correct. Here is proof that, for once and all, Herobrine is NOT REAL!
Okay, so lets put it this way. There are mods that make Herobrine come into the game. So he is real when you install a mod that includes Herobrine. Some mods could put Herobrine into the game without you knowing it, so that may lead to Herobrine sightings. But in vanilla Minecraft, Herobrine is not real. He is a fake.
Okay, so lets start off with this tweet by Kippische: http://twitter.com/Kappische/status/109153949017313280. I think that is enough proof. But some people want more. Okay. How about from the creator of Minecraft himself?
Here is a tweet by Notch: https://twitter.com/notch/status/206375074608054273
See? Herobrine was never in the game, never will be. But then some people will ask, then why in the change log for some versions it says "Removed Herobrine"? Well, the reason is on the Minecraft Wiki and I will quote it here:
The changelog contained the message "Removed Herobrine". This wasNotch "joking" when removing parts of the coding for the Human mob. This and the following three "Herobrine removed" mentions that appeared in Betas 1.7, 1.7_01 and 1.8.1 removed the individual class files for the Human, merely making it somewhat of a default mob. It could still be spawned, but it possessed the default health, (10 hearts) spawn conditions, (Light level 7) melee attack, view distance, and various other parameters shared by all other hostile mobs at the time. The mob at this time now was called "Monster" instead of "Human". The "Removed Herobrine" message was mentioned again in the Beta 1.8 changelog, where all the code for the human mob had been disabled/removed, and the ability to hack the mob into the game with spawn commands or spawners was removed. In the 1.0, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 updates, Jeb wrote "Removed Herobrine" again, but as a "joke".

So I think that sums it all up. Herobrine never existed, and never will be put in the game. It's a fact of the game and all you Herobrine believers will have to get used to it.
