how do i get rid of chat lag....

Okay so ive been in horible chat lag that for the past few days on most servers..i mean really bad chat lag 40-50 seconds...sometimes servers are in a good mood and i get a 10 second chat lag....i really want to know how to get rid of this...PLEASE TELL ME!!

I wanna be able to play like everyone else...

its most likely the server lag. Not your computer, how much ram do you have? whats your processor?

:P im running a laptop...but the chat lag is behind the rest is right...i build up to speed its only chat...

sometimes servers have lag with chat, theres no fix, just have to bear with it.
