FIRST: open minecraft.jar with winRAR or 7ZIP.
2.Drag these folders/files out of the .jar *or copy*
FOLDERS: com,terrain,misc,environment,mob,title,item,gui,font,art,armor,achievement,mob.
FILES: terrain.png,pack.png,pack.txt,particles.png.
And you can also make a custom portal but I recommend dragging a custom portal out another texturepack that has one like *MineWars*
then editing it.
Edit all of the .pngs that you want to look different with a program like paint.NET *you can get this for free and just google it.*
Then once your done...add all the files to archive then check the circle by the word ZIP
then click ok then the pack will be ready.
