Hey all, Texturizor here, and today I am blogging about the Stupidity of Innocent Players getting banned.

I'm sure you all have experienced this in the past. Getting banned for something you didn't do. This has happened to me multiple times, and as a server admin, I have seen it happen multiple times. And I want this to stop. In the past, players have been getting banned for hacking, even though they have no hacked client installed.

A few reasons for this misunderstanding include:
Players reporting innocent players for no other reason but they do not like them.
Plugins such as AntiCheat being to picky.
Bugs and Glitches (Client-Side and Server-Side) that have to do with player visibility.
MCPatcher updated to 1.5 Texture Packs
Or simply just because server admins think (Hmm..A lot of other people hack. He probably is too.)

This fact disappoints me. Most minecraft players don't have any sort of hacking client or mod installed. And when a player gets banned, they loose all of their hard work. I think that the owner should have an area where they can teleport and freeze players to interview the believed hackers. If the owner truly believes they were hacking, the hacker should be banned. This would be a good replacement for Ban Appeals. Anyways my point is, to Admins, be careful about banning hackers, they might not be.

Thanks for Viewing.

One time, there was a guy that had so many stuff that he got in 30 minutes, and I admit, I've got more in 20 minutes. It kind of looked like X-ray, so I said I'll have to investigate it, so I did /invsee and took the stuff to look at it. He then called me a "bitch"... and the ban hammer spoke.

Happened to me before. I was doing a parkour course and an admin was watching me. He randomly said "hacks ban" and that was it.

You have to be part of a really backwards server is this happens regularly. It's not hard to determine who is hacking and who isn't.

Some people don't have any ideas what a glitch is, the just immediately say "HACKER!!!" or "Your using invisi hacks!!" When no such thing exists...

You have no idea.
When you do kitpvp, you get used to it.
I have had so many people tell me I "Reach Hack," which is a hack that doesn't even exist.
It's just good connection/mouse.

Agreed. Being a server mod, I've seen it happen. I wish it could stop too.
