If you have read my other story about how monsters came to be in minecraft, you may also want to know what the deal is with the Nether and Ender. Well, Io ll tell you about the Nether First.

Long, Long ago, when Notch struggled to create utopia in minecraft, he tried to program sapient beings. Amoung these beings rose and fell several races, the undead arose out of Notcho s dislike toward an unthinking people, and the creepers arose out of Docko s revenge. Notch, needing a vault to place dark magics and keep them from escaping, created a hellacious realm with no life within it, only unending fires and lava. These forces had already done their damage, you see, for they started warping small arachnids into carnivorous monsters that lived in caves. A more intelligent and evolved species of warped arachnid lived above ground and only sought to kill beings at night, when it was to hunt, as a decree of Jeb so that Notch would not punish another race. (what he couldno t see killing his creation other than out of self-defense wouldno t anger him.) Then there was Miclee. Miclee was a Steve, a kind of Demigod created by all the heroes in the land of Mojang, and each of them had sapient intelligence that was forged by great men and women over thousands of years, and Notch welcomed them into his world proudly. No matter what our skins are, you and I, assuming you play minecraft too, are Steves. (or you could be a Stevette if youo re not a male) Steves are the base of all minecraftians, and every Steve has immigrated to minecraft from earth, there are no native Steves. Miclee Prayed to Notch, that if worthy, that the people of Mojang should create a companion race for every Steve. Notch tried this long ago with the o Humanso a Mob lost in time and rejected by Notch, but with the help of those who lived with him in the land of Mojang, and with the help of those who breathe life into the Steves (you and I each do so.) they evolved and became capable of thought, a goal Notch had always had. (like I said, he tried to make sapient beings.) Notch was fearful, for he now knew that he could not create a sentinel race by himself, lest a vengeful Dock bring some horrible Armageddon to them, and he knew that it would be very difficult to create a sentinel race with the help of Mojang, for their magical powers relied on us, the players who transcend into the Steves, and if we were to transcend into this companion race as well, it would defeat the purpose of creating a friend for a Steve, as they would be the same people. But Miclee said he would help, and so Notch and Miclee sought to make a friendly race for all Steves. First, they would need to find an animal that would serve as an ally to Steve, and this was before wolves, which weo ll get to later, the closest ally a Steve had then was a pig, who was both food and transportation. Notch made pigmen in his own image, and Miclee breathed life into them, and so was born another race that would be a loyal companion and allied nation to Steves everywhere. And then there was Dock. If you have read the last creation myth that I wrote, you would know that Dock was not too fond of Notch, his creation, or Steves. Because Notch created the first sprite for Steves before he left Notch, he was angry that they had replaced the Steves of his creation and put these new ones in their stead, and now they were making an addition to the Biped Model evolutionary chain. Dock, in a rage, gathered the hardest stone he could find on short notice, and made a ring, and lit a fire, he then did a ritual that every Steve now knows well. Dock had broken the seal between two worlds, and he would use this o Nether portalo to punish the pigmen and lock them in this hell until the end of time. Dock led every tribe of pigmen into the nether, using the sounds and glow of the portal to lure the helpless, hypnotized pigs into the Nether, and then he systematically killed them all, slowly and painfully. The companion race went extinct almost immediately after its evolution. Except for two. There was but one male and female each, Will and Jill Piginson, capable of producing offspring. Notch hurriedly tried to put them into a time-vault, where they would be frozen in time until it was safe for them to live without the threat of an angry creator. Dock got there at the last second and blocked off the vault, and readied his diamond sword, he would teach Notch to replace him like that, and he would do it by traumatizing one of his followers and kill the last of the Steve-created race in front of its creators. Miclee would not let this happen, in a rage he threw himself at Dock and killed him, but throwing himself at a man with a sword meant that he would impale himself and die. That didno t matter to Miclee, who sacrificed himself for the innocent pigmen. Notch was able to seal away Will and Jill, and Miclee, who took the impalement through his skull, went mad and tried to breathe life into the tortured pigmen in the Nether. That is why there are pig zombies in the Nether. So if you ever see lightning strike a pig, and see the transformation that takes place, you know Notch is up there trying to humor the mad ghost of Miclee.

Moving along, Notch thought it would be a fitting punishment to make the Nether into a place of Punishment for the evil dead, as the dark magic had already escaped completely, and there was no way for Notch to stop it from causing the rapid growth of the warped spider population. Rather than destroy that dimension, he would trap Dock in one of its many caverns and let him burn there forever. And so Dock was sent there and the portals were destroyed on both sides. But then an unlucky Steve who was exploring the nether, seeing another man suffering in the lava, he did what any righteous person would do, he built a bridge out to the man and pulled him out of it. The end came swiftly for that poor Steve. Dock, crawling out of the portal of his own design, came back from the dead. Docko s eyes had rotted out long ago, and his eyes glowed white with hatred, and his mouth was fixed into a smile. Dock was driven insane, he knew nothing of his past, all he knew was that he hated the bald man with a hat, and he especially hated the Steves. Thato s who Herobrine is, and thato s why Notch made such a big deal out of covering up the Herobrine rumor, because no man wants anyone to know that he chose to condemn someone eternally. (not even me) All of Herobrineo s worst thoughts populate the Nether, every person he ever killed has become a blaze or ghast or magma cube, and they built a cave network of castles with mysterious bricks, and eventually, an empire of monsters accumulated in the Nether. His vague memories of being Dock, the angry sprite artist, have died and decayed and burned, and their skeletons, because of the great presence of living dead in the area, have come to life and seek to kill the Steves they know they hate, and each one is a near copy of Docko s personality, these are called the Wither skeletons, for even their sanity has withered as well. If one were to take the sand produced by the suffer and decay of lost souls, and make the body of a golem, as well as accumulating the heads of three faded memories of Dock, the horrendous vengeance of an angry game artist will rise up and create the Wither boss, which is the closest possible thing to resurrecting the original Dock that is in anyoneo s power, even Notcho s power. Killing this Dock and taking his star will earn you favor, and if you shine the light up to Notch, he will reward you greatly with healing and strength. He is even more grateful to you if you build an emerald shrine below the source of light before setting it off, and will reward you with more powers.

All good things must come to an end. And every half-baked idea that has been refused by Notch gets sent to THE End. They will live there, and eventually they will become the weary, depressed souls we know as endermen. This is no-mano s land. Every block and item that has been broken and deleted via creative mode, TMI, or lava, will eventually accrue into a cluster of atoms in the End. If packed tightly, it will crystalize and become self-aware, make a pedestal for itself, and float in a fire. Its final purpose will then be to heal the enderdragon, the raging and envious beast that hates all of Notcho s accepted creations to this day. If the atoms of the deleted blocks are packed more loosely, they will become Endstone, and eventually build an island. The Endermen have all been granted but one power by Notch, and that is to be able to change any block they bring to their homeland from the other side into obsidian, so that they may build towers to protect their king the enderdragon. The endermen are ashamed of their being refused, and so if they see someone acknowledging their existence via looking at them, they will make every effort to kill them. Endermen have but one thing to call their own, and that is their soul, which allows them to blink and move quickly. If you were to kill them and take their soul, you too would be able to teleport. and if you were to torturously burn them with blaze powder, they would be scarred, the open wound would resemble a pupil and the burn around it would look like an Iris, that is why they are called Ender Eyes, and they would try to lead you to their king then, so that he would kill you, but some die (explode) in the process. And with the power of 12 souls, the gate between the refused and accepted worlds would open. Killing the dragon will render the killer unconscious when he or she or them entered the portal. In their dreams, they will hear the voices of the universe speak to them, and then they will wake up in another part of their world. Little do they know, they died when they entered the portal and reincarnated into a new Steve with their old Steveso possessions. The old, dead Steveso bodies will bind together and become the new Enderdragon.

And that is how monsters came to be in the other dimensions, and what those monsters are.
