Hello everyone!
In this tutorial I will show you how to add colored text to a book and quill. Having colors in books can add effect to adventure maps, servers, and other scenarios. The way to do this is super easy but I did not know until recently.
Follow this guide to add colors to your books:
1. Open Up Minecraft
2. Get on your world and get a book and quill
3. Minimize Minecraft
4. Go to this website (don't worry its a minecraft wiki): www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Formatting_codes
5. Copy one of the codes with the weird sqwiggly symbol and number
6. Go back into Minecraft
7. Open your book
8. Paste the code into the book (it will not show up)
9. Start typing in colors!
10. HAVE FUN!
