Hello. I'm writing this blog to hopefully graduate some of the noobs in minecraft up to experienced minecraftians who can follow what's going on in there daily minecraft lives. First off, here are some things you should avoid doing.

1. If you are a new player to minecraft, you probably do not know all the passive and aggressive mobs... I learned this the hard way... Even though those green speckled things we call creepers seem innocent with that cute little frown on there face, what ever do, do not hug a creeper....

2. When you first spawn in a world you have ten minutes to make a shelter before night comes. DO NOT spend this time playing with pigs or sheep, or maybe picking flowers. Get to making a shelter to avoid being either shot, blown up, or eaten by our un-dead friends.

3. When you obtain a bed, do not place it in the open and try to go to sleep. You will wake up with either a zombie trying to eat you, or an arrow to the face from a skeleton...

3b. Another note on the beds. When you place them in your home/base, make sure that every thing is lit up with torches, and that the bed is a block away from any other blocks. If you neglect this, you will most likely get a skeleton in your bed.

4. When your used to mining only coal then suddenly see a tan colored ore, your first thought may be, " Oh my gawd! What is that!?" To answer your question, its iron ore.

4b. Also on the iron subject, you also have to place it in a furnace and smelt it with coal in the bottom space and the iron ore in the top space.

5. When mining place torches so a zombie doesn't spawn behind you an own you in the face.

6. If you find a cave, do not go running in to it unprepared. Be sure to have a sword, a pick, some torches, and if at all possible, some armor.

7. Cliffs are not fun to jump off.

8. If playing on a multiplayer survival server, don't throw a hussy fit if someone kills you and steals your stuff.

9. Again on a multiplayer server, try not to spas out to much if someone griefs, or destroys, your base. I know its frustrating, but eventually you can gain what ever you had lost.

10. Probably the most important rule, DO NOT DIG DOWN!!! Your face will most likely meet lava.

Thank you for reading, and I will be uploading a part two of this.
