these are tips how to be the coolest on a minecraft server
1.always try to help people
2.be nice and when people say there leaving say bye
3.when new players come on greet them(they usually will probably have you as there closest friend on that server)
4.make yourself useful,help out.
5.don't make fun of people,and just keep going on about it.
6.say if you were staff you would rank them,optional.
7.don't be perverted this makes people think you are retarded,and you might get banned.

things not to do:
1.choose a odd name as your username(if you ever want to go pro this will be bad having a dumb name)
2.be rude to women
3.don't lie
4.on grief servers do not destroy peoples build or house even though that was the servers purpose
5.make dumb jokes
6.brag about rank or build
7.beg for rank
8.don't go behind ops back and ask for rank from other op
