Hello girls and boys! It's Monday and you know what that means... a DiamondBlog tutorial! Today's tutorial comes off of Friday's How to become a Server Great part 1. To recap you have just become a mod and you want to be the best mod you can be. This is going to be a little shorter two or three chapters.
Chapter 5: Your first Kick
Someone is being a derp on the server and he's asking for mod and all that jazz, what do you do? Most people would just quit and never come back. Don't be the one to do that! You want to kick him where it hurts! With the "You are not getting Mod" or "No asking for ranks" type thing. Can you believe that some moderators won't kick without a responsible owner around? Well it's true. 65% of moderators won't kick unless the owner of the server, or an admin is there. They are like dogs. Dogs won't eat without there owners.
Chapter 6: Your first BAN
That guy won't let out. You've kicked him so many times his computer probably hurts. There are two things you can do: run away and never come back OR lay down the ban hammer! The best way to ban someone is to ban them with: /ban friedchicken The BAN HAMMER Has Spoken! That makes the player think about what he did and then he can write a ban appeal on the server website.
Chapter 7: You are now admin!
Most of the time when you are admin you now get world edit. That is about the only difference from being a mod, that and people think you are better. Just keep doing the same things you did as mod and bam! Instant success!
