HOW TO BECOME PART OF A SERVER'S STAFF
Hello, people often ask this question many times to people or staff owners and I decided to express my opinion about this particular subject.What I will be doing is going through steps and at the end of the steps I will be give a list of things not to do and things you should do to improve your chances. Before we get started I need to lay down somethings. Please do not be under the age of 14. Good owners will not accept young kids. Unless you prove to them you are mature. Let's begin...
STEP ONE
The first thing you should do is explore the server, read the rules. Memorize the basics of the rules and at least talk to the owner/admin of the server. Exploring the server is important so you have a general idea of what the server is. When I mean by exploring I mean it both ways (Finding what plugins it has and exploring the regions on the server) Reading the rules is extremely important. Who will accept someone to become a mod or admin if they do not even know the rules.
STEP TWO
There are two very important ways that you could get a staff position. The first way is play on the server for a while or... play on the server and help out new people and others with questions. I would choose number 2 if you are looking for a fast result in getting a staff position. Make sure you help people with the best of your effort. You can even help other staff with problems if they need help. Make sure you ingnore the people that call you a try hard and just say that you are just trying to help.
STEP THREE
Third thing you should do is be patient and DO NOT ask for a staff position right away. What you can do is notify the owner or admin in /tell or /msg that you are interested in help moderate the server. IMPORTANT: DO NOT NOTIFY THEM YOU WANT TO BE ADMIN. START SMALL FIRST.
STEP FOUR
Do not give up, that is the key thing. Do not give up! I cannot stress that enough. Owners want to see dedication and commitment for his staff. If you do not show it then you will most likely not be chosen to become part of the staff. This goes along with activeness. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO SHARE IDEAS.
WHAT TO DO: 1. Show that you are mature and dedicated in becoming part of their staff.
2. Be respectful to all and do not make too many enemy's
3. Share ideas with the server and try to make some friends.
4. Use common sense.
WHAT NOT TO DO: 1. Do not ask for a staff position right away
2. Do not act like a child
3. Do not disobey rules or staff.
