Superflat worlds. they seem to be infinite but actually are finite. They're just really long and wide. Quick tip: try to make a road from one end to the other in a superflat world because it will take you !1 hour to excavate the whole thing and then 2 hours to fill it all up + the markup, do not use carpets for markups on roads. Only do the road if you want to, if making a city highly recomended. Once you are done the road you need buildings!!! you could do anything it is your world, I recommend connecting with friends to help you with building the buildings and structures. especially with big and ginormous structures. If you want basements or bunkers this is what to do, before creating the superflat world go to more options and select something to do with layers and biomes for your superflat world. find the layers and add as much layers as you want and you can do it with many different blocks. CUSTOMIZE:) IMPORTANT: you must add layers before making your superflat world or else you wont be able to customize later on. once you are done all of this and you made your everything. don't get rid of your empty map completely finish the map and then find the middle of the superflat world, then build a beautiful fountain with water not lava specifically water and then build whatever you want do whatever you want not me or someone else, YOU DO YOU someone else do someone else. you can build anything you want high risers or sky scrapers or apartments hotels bunkers black holes (out of blocks of coal and obsidian of course or anything that looks like a black hole), bridges sculptures. If you are highly interested in building I recommend these youtubers, magma and grian, and if you are more of a redstone gaget guy I recommend mumbo jumbo.
