All right guys,follow these simple steps and you'll get a pretty good steps.
.1 (OPTIONAL) Draw what you want your skin to look like.But not like the Monalisa,like a sketch.So after your done with your sketch,you have something to like on to.
.2 Find a program to use.I use Skincraft,becuase if your awful,they have premade clothes/glasses/whatever.But I don't use them.
.3 Paint each section of the body on color,change anything if needed.It makes it easyer to shade than.NOTE:I will NOT telling you how to shade in this tutorial,so thats your problem.
Now its going to get IN DETAIL!!!!!!!!!!(So I'm restarting with 1.0
.1 THIS IS FOR HEADS OF ANIMAL SKINS GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This will also need SOME knowladge of the steve body thing.If your having trouble cuz the ear look flat,DON'T do the ears in the head,do it has a "hat".
.2 THIS IS FOR THE LEGS/FEET OF ROBOT SKINS OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want your robot to have wheels,then make the inside part(where the wheel is of corse) not like the rest of the body,but light grey,with 1 or 2 botl(s).
.3 THIS IS FOR HUMAN SKINS WITH HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did this to make it look pro XD! I know,there something wrong with me.

You could try to add more details like put the part about shading in here and maybe go into how you would do each part of the skin like the head, body, ect.
