3. They sometimes travel in packs
4. Dirt is your best defense if your in a small tunnel
5. Creepers are wide awake at dawn
6. If you feel like you're surrounded, run to a nearby safe area. If not, head for the water. Creepers are slow kamikaze fighters, simply don't let them corner you.
7. If all else fails, give them a hug. Studies have shown that affection sometimes may relieve Creeper stress and anxiety.
8. If you don't have a bow, get in close with the sword, hit, then run and strafe if you feel like strafing. Repeat.
9. Creepers need to see you to kill you. Hide from their vision.
10. Check for creepers on your ceiling if you live under a mountain. Not fun to run outside and get exploded. 11.if you have an iron/diamond sword, you can kill a creeper by dashing towards it and hitting it repeteadly without having to run backwards to get out of its range. 12. If you are fighting Creepers and other mobs, use the Creeper's explosion to kill the other mobs.
13. Fully armor yourself as soon as possible.
15. Make shelter ASAP
16. If you cannot make shelter, steal another person's shelter and claim it as your own.
17. After you get banned from that server, remind yourself to dig a thin hole, jump in it and cover it up.
18 - Run like hell, always.
19 - F5 is your friend!
20. Build a small shelter and never come out

21. Never play Minecraft
But seriously,
22. Dig At least 4-block- -deep pits in areas that you know are frequented by creepers. If one runs at you, lure it into the pit and repeatedly hit it on its head with a sword while it tries to get you.
23. If you have a bow and a creeper is coming, block-jump until you have a nice little tower and then SHOOT THEM IN THEIR FACES. Make sure you don't fall off.
24. If you're getting chased by a pack of creepers getting one to explode surprisingly -will- kill the rest.
25. Fence your yard, so you won't have creepers waiting for you just outside the door when you go outside.
26. Mobs don't spawn 24 blocks around your location. If you fail at getting coal or making torches, you can just make a tiny shelter, and don't hug the walls.
27. Mobs don't spawn 24 blocks around your holy spawn point. This is why your spawn point always seems abandoned, even when it's the dead of night. (neutral mobs can't spawn on sand, aggressive mobs can't spawn near you)
28. Creepers, and other mobs spawn in a light level of 7 or under. the Nether has a normal light level of about 8 (although the netherrack makes it look darker), so you don't have to worry about being assaulted by Creepers in the Nether.
29. Place torches on your roof, so you can avoid getting jumped on (literally) by a Creeper.
30. Don't explore and mine caves at the same time: it's usually where all the Creeper Youtube videos come from.
