Hey all.
Today I just want to tell you guys how to get staff on your server. Important staff are they key components
1. Make sure you trust your staff!!
This is the main component in staff hiring. Trusting your staff means everything; even life and death of the server. These are a few components to decide whether you trust your staff or not:
a. Has he/she been a positive influence?
b. Does he/she respect you, and not just interested in staff?
c. Are they experienced players?
d. Are they active?
e. Are they not suckups? (suckups are the biggest thing to watch out for. Make sure your staff is genuine. Think of it like this: If they would treat you the same if you were not admin/owner/mod/staff, then they are trustworthy.
2. Your future staff member should be on for a long time.
Premature staff-hiring is a hamartia for almost all admins/owners. Make sure that your staff member has been on for a really long time, and is active.
3. Your future staff member should be active on the forums.
If your staff member is not active on the forums, it means most likely they are not ready for a staff membership. Being active on the forums means that they are willing to give up time for their favorite server, and they are willing to be helpful.
4. Your staff should not have any records.
No, not that type of record. I mean that this staff member shouldn't be known for a 50 minute arguement with another player over unrelated topics. This is a huge symbol of immaturity. Your staff MUST be mature!
